It was a pivotal moment on the timeline of mens fashion. Soon thereafter, the battle against conservative business attire had begun. And ultra-comfort clothing has gained traction ever since.
Now, in 2022, Facebook is owned by Meta Platforms and the men’s style battleground is ripe for revolution once again. It is indisputable that the ways of conducting business have changed. I am sure that you have heard the adage over and over again that says “Dress for the job you want, not the job you have.” It is very clear to me that young entrepreneurs are taking the opportunity of the ever ballooning new business world. It is simply not enough for zoomers and young millenials to work a shift at a company while planning their next 40 years at the same company. In 2022, it’s time to convince the world that your ingenuity is able to edge out any competition in a similar business sector. For example, entrepreneur Diego Andres Lozano developed a company that inspires younger millennials and zoomers to invest in real-estate. It is no coincidence that in the early to mid twenty-first century, the concept of office-attire has influenced and reorientated mens fashion. Not only has Amazon emerged as a global e-commerce giant, but the growth of this platform has been exponential, giving way to entrepreneurs interested in developing fresh business strategies. How his ingenuity came into play was that the 34-year-old had struggled for years to learn the business of dropshipping. What I find heartfelt is that Rodriguez’s road to success was a challenging one. In his early years, he was homeless and had to learn to survive at a very young age. It wasn’t until 2012 when he got a good break. At that time, he came across a CPA marketing want-ad for Twitter. Given he had no prior experience, Rodriguez felt drawn to giving it a try because the company tweeted about a free trial. For me, this is the unfiltered true passion of what makes greatness in America. Subsequently, he worked 18 to 20 hours a day mastering marketing strategies and generating content leads.
In 2014, Rodriguez discovered dropshipping on eBay and this business stream changed his trajectory to a whole new space. After much trial and error, Although he learned the basics of dropshipping, like any true person with entrepreneurial spirit, he thought to connect dropshipping managers and assist him with his own stores —in every aspect of the business.

And when garments fit well, it will not only make you look great, but also make you appear taller and more professional.
In 2022, corporate business has placed a strong emphasis on apparel. Today’s choices draw firm distinctions of status and wealth. In addition, being well put together helps others to view you positively.
Make no bones about it; wearing formal attire makes you feel more powerful, which leads to better creativity. Dressing well may be expensive but might pay for themselves the next time you’re negotiating salary or payment. More importantly, and all too often, casual dressers tend to back down to the well-dressed men who display a greater sense of respect and authority.
Some American men brush off the importance of dressing well. In fact, an abundant number of modern companies don’t enforce such strict dress codes. I find it to be a disservice and a sign of sheer and utter laziness. In the recent past, I have witnessed some of the worst dressing that I have ever seen. For example, men in wrinkled shirts and pants; Athletic socks worn with trousers and dress shoes, dirty t-shirts and sneakers. I find it all so disrespectful to the company who employs you. While it’s certainly nice to dress casually, it can hurt your chances of moving up the corporate ladder.
Much of your success depends on what other people think of you. You want to be the kind of person that others want to work with, pay, and promote. It all starts with how you get dressed in the morning. Spending a few minutes each morning to pick the right outfit and groom yourself can pay off big time.

Joseph DeAcetis: Talk to Forbes about creating and leading Amazon Automation.
Tommy Rodriguez Founder of Amazon Automation: I decided to change my trajectory. My aim was to separate myself from other professionals in the traditional coaching line of business. I sought to create something in the property management arena and I was fortunate enough to enter into this new developing space. Now, looking back, it feels like a tremendous accomplishment.
JD: Talk to Forbes about why dressing to impress is important as an industry leader and business owner.
Dressing for success does matter. In fact, I feel that it is very important for a company leader to set an example. These days, many companies permit a relaxed dress code for their employees. Although a well-put together relaxed style is fine, there are stronger options available for the important meetings. For me, during office-hours, I enjoy wearing a nice suit. As the owner of my own company, wearing a suit boosts my self-confidence to take on the day — and look good while doing it. And quite frankly, wearing ripped jeans and your favorite tee-shirt to the office does not convey a message of respect to your subordinates or to your brand. I prefer my employees to present themselves well during office hours. It not only looks good, but rather has been proven to increase productivity throughout the day.
JD: What are your day-to-day job responsibilities?
TR: Overlooking accounts. I have a team that manages overseeing accounts as well. Monday meetings and always being in contact with my COO. Confirming that things are running smoothly with stores and suppliers and account management with relation to revenue streams.
Talk to Forbes about the challenges you faced when you launched your company—and how you had overcome those challenges?
TR: There are a lot of challenges in the e-comm space among those include; hiring top executives and talented personnel to train, operate and develop strategies to remain as the #1 drop-shipping expert in the world. Leadership and management are critical to the success of any organization and being able to trust your employees with the business you started as they curate a community and work environment where we all celebrate our successes, birthdays, anniversaries, holidays and families.
