Each partner applies their artistic touch and aesthetic to create a new generation of classic shoe styles in the Allen Edmonds factory in Port Washington, Wisconsin. This partnership celebrates American handcraft tradition reimagined through a modern design perspective, uniting both brands’ shared dedication to quality, innovation, and heritage.


“At every stage of the design process, I reflect on how American values have evolved and how to translate them into something meaningful for today,” said Daiki Suzuki, Founder and Designer of Engineered Garments. “Allen Edmonds represents one of the most prestigious American brands and visiting the Port Washington factory and working directly with the craftsmen gave me a deeper appreciation for the production process and the people behind it.”
For the initial style, Suzuki turned to his archive—specifically, the Allen Edmonds Sun Valley hiker boot, which he has had for over fifteen years—as a starting point for reinterpretation. The result is the Adirondack Low Hiker, which honors the spirit of the original while integrating the Engineered Garments ethos of utilitarian craftsmanship. The new version, available in three SKUs, features a Goodyear welt, EVA midsole, and matte black hardware, all anchored by the distinctive bold blue laces.
