Why Sports Stars And Celebrities Elevate Their Style Icon Status In 2024

J Balvin was dressed in Berluti to the Gala des Pièces Jaunes Paris, France, January 26th, 2024 J. Balvin wore a shawl collar mohair and satin tuxedo, a white cotton shirt, a black satin bow tie and a pair of Nero Grigio patina Venezia leather Alessandro Demesure shoes.

The role of a celebrity is determined by their performance both on stage and off stage. And, the wardrobe stylists at stylelujo.com say that the attention-getting business now extends way beyond Hollywood’s reach. For example, when it comes to famous athletes, getting dressed is about knowing when to put on a little show for a big audience. Last week, I watched The Kansas City Chiefs walk into the stadium, which appeared to me like watching a luxury fashion show. The athletes were dressed to the nines, wearing the best luxury brands in the menswear industry. More importantly, these looks are all too often selected by industry experts who are well educated in menswear.

From the world of entertainment, names attached to the highest trending, most watched, critically acclaimed and anticipated shows, movies, concerts and sports arenas, take their individual style seriously. Even the world-renowned adventurer, photographer, and award-winning filmmaker Jimmy Chin signed on as the latest brand ambassador for luxury watch brand Bremont.

It’s no longer enough for a person in the public eye, to do their job right but rather, their life right. Thenceforth, the reason why today’s film, music, athletic, and social media stars are taking fashion seriously.

In 2024, the way men dress is changing. Menswear style codes from the past have morphed into new yet undefined territory. For some, this can lead to vulnerable fashion territory- the borderline between where you plant your stake in the ground and where you find yourself captured in enemy territory.

The good news about menswear’s modern style codes is that men now have the freedom to dress however they want. But. It can be overwhelming – especially for celebrities.

This spring-summer 2024 season is veering towards a more tailored approach to dressing. But this time, men are no longer required to wear classic suits and tuxedos.

The power to shape a celebrity narrative in a positive light, for a global audience is worth big money. This new shift in style plays a significant role in a consumer’s perception of the celebrity and brand. And, that perception leads to mucho dollars at the cash register – not to mention; brand awareness and perception.

A well-styled look can personify brand and celebrity on the red carpet. Good style helps to solidify one’s reputation as a legitimate performer. A celebrity with a good sense of style is integral to celebrity style.
