For one week, New York City became the epicenter of wedding fashion! As per tradition, the city hosted Bridal Fashion Week, a biannual event in April and October. Bridal Market is our opportunity to meet designers as they showcase their latest collections. Last week, the bridal world came together for one of the New York Bridal Fashion Week, which brings together the most prestigious names in the wedding industry. The three-day event is attended by designers, salon owners, editors, and even influencers, who are all present to review and search for the most exciting new wedding dresses. Designers showcased their collections with runway shows, packed presentations, and Market showcases that highlighted the growing boom of the bridal industry. 

This season, there is a clear indication that the bridal space is getting creative, with plenty of designers aiming to get the attention of the growing Gen Z market segmentation. While there is no shortage of fabulous gowns, a few top trends stood out.  In the collections, Bridal designers revamp the wardrobe dedicated to summer ceremonies; the traditional black and white look is complemented by beige and total white offering. Bridal gowns are born in new fabrics, new strappy-sandals flank traditional shoes. The evening looks are thus expressed in new shades, to give every women the pleasure of interpreting the wedding in her own way.

Over the past few weeks, wedding designers and brands worldwide have unveiled their newest collections through presentations, stunning runway shows, and digital releases. 

During the event, designers and brands alike offered a fresh take on wedding day style across their spring 2025 bridal collections, from convertible gowns to intricate crystal embellishments. In addition, the presentations and shows were filled with detachable silk chiffon sashes that were shown draped in a variety of ways, transforming looks into convertible looks. 

Other highlights included a significant return to intricate lace offerings and drop waist styles. It adds a classic look to your wedding dress, paired with a more modern silhouette and individualized approach. Dripping elegantly with pearl beading, the embellishment transforms wedding gowns into artistic masterpieces. Revealing the interplay of texture traditionally inspired embroidery was evocative of the craftsmanship carried by culture and tradition—convertible looks- with this slight twist on a classic look. – new trends had a straightforward take aimed at Gen Z brides.
